SUD Counselor Ethics & Confidentiality

In this training we will explore the obligations of an addiction counselor to adhere to accepted ethical and behavioral standards of conduct and continuing professional development. California certified counselor must have three hours of ethics and confidentiality bi-annually to renew their certification. Utilizing TAP 21 and California code of conduct for counselors this training reviews the key areas of ethics and confidentiality as well as the consequences of a violation. The training incorporates examples and interaction to increase the learning environment.
