Barbara Aday-Garcia is an accomplished CEO with over 39 years of extensive experience in the field of alcohol and drug use recovery services. Her career is distinguished by her leadership in program development, implementation, and management, particularly within the alcohol and drug treatment sectors. Barbara’s deep understanding of California’s DUI System and addiction treatment regulations has positioned her as a pivotal figure in shaping recovery services and policies.

Currently serving as the CEO of AG Management Consulting LLC, Barbara oversees a wide range of services aimed at enhancing organizational efficiency, standardization, and fiscal stability. Her work includes managing the California Association of DUI Treatment Programs, where she has been instrumental in the executive and administrative management of the association’s operations, including counselor certification and continuing education.

Barbara’s prior roles include managing Chemical Dependency Programs at Occupational Health Services in San Marcos, California, where she led the largest Driving Under the Influence Program in the state. Her efforts there earned her accolades such as the HealthNet’s Heart and Soul Award and the Excellence in Supervision Award from Breining Institute College.

Her credentials include a Certification as a Credentialing Specialist from the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE)/National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), along with executive education from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.

Janice Forbes is an experienced Project Manager and Business Consultant with over 30 years of leadership in project management, technology integration, and strategic business development. She currently excels at AG Management Consulting Services and the California Association of DUI Treatment Programs, where she has spearheaded significant projects like the California DUI MAT Integration/Outreach Pilot Project. This role involved collaborating with 121 DUI Program providers across California, a testament to her ability to manage large-scale initiatives and enhance statewide substance use disorder assessments and treatments.

Janice’s expertise is underpinned by a robust background in business consultancy with A New Day Virtual Business Solutions, where she specializes in website and graphic design, strategic planning, and training development. She has successfully launched online platforms for SUD counselor training and developed comprehensive digital and marketing solutions for various businesses.

Earlier in her career, Janice made significant impacts as the Director of Human Resources and Training at Wilco and as Vice President of Customer Care & Training at Metro One Telecom, where she drove transformative changes that drastically improved operational efficiencies and employee training programs.

Her educational foundation is a BA in Business Communications from National University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Known for her visionary leadership and adeptness in technological and digital mediums, Janice continues to be a pivotal asset in navigating complex projects and fostering substantial business growth.

Her technical prowess spans a variety of platforms and tools, including WordPress, Hootsuite, Microsoft Office, Canva, and QuickBooks, enabling her to effectively manage social media content, design materials, and maintain financial records. Cassandra’s skills are further highlighted by her credential as an ICE Academy Credentialing Specialist and her proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

Jennifer B. Strother is a seasoned Substance Use Disorder (SUD) counselor with over 19 years of experience in the field, including 17 years in supervisory and managerial roles. Currently, she is a Drug and Alcohol Assessor, Counselor Supervisor, and Program Liaison at AGMC-Services, where she oversees the counseling staff and curriculum training on group counseling processes.

Jennifer’s career highlights include her tenure as a Manager of Chemical Dependency Programs at Occupational Health Services, where she was responsible for the administrative and counseling staff oversight, ensuring the highest quality of service and program development. She has a deep commitment to applying her expertise in Motivational Interviewing, a method she also teaches to other counselors to enhance their effectiveness.

A United States Army veteran and former Squad Leader, Jennifer’s leadership skills are honed through rigorous military training and real-world application in high-stakes environments. Her military background includes heavy-duty transportation duties and service as an Airborne squad leader, experiences that have imbued her with a strong sense of discipline and responsibility.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and an Associate of Arts in Alcohol and Other Drug Studies from San Diego City College. She is a certified AOD Counselor and Clinical Supervisor, and she has developed multiple continuing education programs for AOD counselors. Notably, she was a recipient of the Excellence in Supervision Award from the Breining Institute College for the Advanced Study of Addictive Disorders in 2012.

Her career is also marked by significant contributions to substance use recovery, including the development of a Marijuana Impact Program and coordination of a DUI MAT Pilot Project, showcasing her innovative approach to addiction treatment.

Michealine Flower is a distinguished leader with over 25 years of experience in the field of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) counseling and DUI treatment programs. She currently serves as the DUI MAT Project Liaison for the California Association of DUI Treatment Programs and AG Management Consulting Services Inc., where she has successfully led the California DUI MAT Integration/Outreach Pilot Project. This project, a key part of the California Opioid Response, has been instrumental in recruiting 141 DUI programs and has had significant impacts, including over 150,000 SUD assessments and substantial educational outreach.

Michealine’s expertise encompasses extensive knowledge of DUI treatment laws, regulations, and program requirements, ensuring compliance and high standards across multiple platforms. She has developed and implemented numerous training and certification programs, enhancing professional growth for AOD/SUD counselors. Notably, she has facilitated CEU trainings and developed specialized workshops focusing on stress management and work-life balance for SUD counselors.

Her background is robust, with prior roles at Occupational Health Services in San Marcos, CA, where she supervised case management and ensured adherence to all relevant policies and procedures. Michealine’s earlier career included positions as an Emergency Medical Technician and healthcare management roles, which provided a strong foundation in medical and client care.

Michealine holds certifications in various areas including Motivational Interviewing, Gambling Addiction, and Anger Management. She completed her education in social work and counselor education at prestigious institutions such as San Diego State University and the University of Michigan.
